Patrington Champions

Graham is calling on the youth of Beverley and Holderness to sign up for the Humberside Lifestyle! Awards, organised by Humberside Police.

Graham met last year’s winners, the Patrington Champions, three times, both in Patrington and in Parliament.

The Humberside Lifestyle! Awards is all about young people helping their community and since its launch in 1989, over 195,000 young people have taken part, volunteering over 2.5 million hours.

Lifestyle! Is a team competition taking place over the school summer holidays for children between the ages of 10 and 16. There are six challengers for 2025:

  • Safer Roads Humber, won by the Patrington Champions in 2024
  • Sustainability Challenge
  • Crime Reduction Challenge
  • Life Unlimited – Physical Health Challenge
  • Community Crusader Challenge
  • Mini Police Challenge

Teams are encouraged to enter as soon as possible to be in with a chance of winning some of the fantastic prizes available to the winning teams.

Groups can sign up at https://humbersidepolicelifestyle.co.uk/

Graham said: “It was a pleasure to meet the Patrington Champions three times last year, especially in Parliament, and I want to see more teams from Beverley and Holderness win the Humberside Lifestyle! Awards!

“So if your children are between the ages of 10 and 16, they could make a real difference to the community, as well as cementing friendships and being a source of pride for the community.”
