With UK Parliament Week fast approaching, Graham is encouraging primary schools, secondary schools and youth groups to sign up for UK Parliament Week (18th-24th November).

The celebration of democracy, organised by Parliament, will give young people the opportunity to learn how Parliament works, and how everyone has a say in the future of our country.

Graham has long been involved in educating young people in Beverley and Holderness about how parliament works, regularly welcoming school groups on tours of the historic Palace of Westminster, as well as visiting schools across Beverley and Holderness throughout the year.

Parliament provides schools and youth groups with high-quality free resources to plan lessons for children. Graham has historically provided a video for such groups to use in their lessons, and has provided certificates for pupils who have taken part.

Schools and youth groups can sign up for their free resources for UK Parliament Week at https://www.ukparliamentweek.org/en/sign-up/, and Graham will be happy to arrange future visits for schools and youth groups if they email him at [email protected].

Graham Stuart said: “UK Parliament Week is truly a celebration of democracy, and I urge schools and youth groups to sign up.

“I love my regular visits to schools and youth groups and my wish is that they engage and inspire as many young people as possible in our democracy.”
