Nuclear Vote 4 Holderness

BREAKING 7th February - Graham Backs Withdrawal

Graham has backed Cllrs Lyn Healing and Sean McMaster's motion to Council calling on East Riding of Yorkshire Council to withdraw from discussions.

Holderness is being considered as a potential site for a nuclear waste disposal facility - also known as a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF).

Nuclear Waste Services says that a GDF can only be approved with local consent - but doesn't specify HOW that consent will be granted.

The Nuclear Vote 4 Holderness Campaign, founded by Graham, believes that if Nuclear Waste Services want our consent, it must be MEANINGFUL consent.

That's why the campaign is calling on Nuclear Waste Services to give the people of Holderness a meaningful say. A referendum.
