If you suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a defibrillator could save your life. For every minute your heart isn't restarted by a defibrillator, your chances of survival would decrease by 10%.
So in rural communities, a sudden cardiac arrest could be a death sentence when it doesn't need to be.
That's why I started CADEY alongside Yorkshire Ambulance Service and HEY Smile - to help complete our defibrillator network in the East Riding.
Working together with businesses and individuals, we've installed twelve defibrillators so far, and are on the hunt for locations in more villages.
Maybe you can help us? Get in touch with the form below if you know somewhere in your community where a defibrillator could go, and maybe it will save a life.
