Graham Stuart, MP for Beverley and Holderness, has launched a search to find Community Champions across Beverley and Holderness.
As MP, Graham often hears stories about people doing incredible things for their communities, and wants to celebrate these stories.
Graham is asking residents to nominate their Community Champions and write a brief description of why they deserve recognition.
Graham will feature these Community Champions over the coming months through social media and beyond to highlight their good work.
The intention is to turn the spotlight on some of the amazing things happening across Beverley and Holderness and to alert those in need to schemes and charities which may be able to offer support to those in need.
This campaign will run over the next two months, and Graham intends to focus on some of the winners later this year.

Commenting, Graham said: “I hear stories regularly of amazing people, and I want to share those stories with you.
“I hope that in highlighting the amazing things people do for others, we will be able to see much more of the unsung community activity that goes on in Beverley and Holderness.
“I hope this will give support and encouragement to some of the brilliant people and organisations quietly helping others and increase our pride in our communities.”
