In the run up to Christmas, Graham Stuart, Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, is on the hunt for the best independent shops in the constituency.
Beverley and Holderness is full of locally-owned shops, from clothing boutiques through to garden centres and corner shops.
Each one is a business rooted in our community, with the money generated staying right here in Yorkshire.
That’s why this Christmas, Graham wants to celebrate those shops through his Best of Beverley and Holderness Awards. These will run throughout the year, celebrating various businesses and organisations around our towns and villages.
Residents can nominate their favourite shops here before Thursday 30th November before two weeks of voting. Winners will be announced just before Christmas.
Commenting, Graham said “The run up to Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate our independent shops, and hopefully get our Christmas shopping done in one.
“I want to know those hidden gems: clothes shops, butchers, corner shops and much more besides.
“I’m looking forward to reading more about these brilliant shops and announcing the winners shortly before Christmas.”
