I am deeply concerned that leading supporters of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill have mooted using the Parliament Act to bring Kim Leadbeater’s Bill into law.
After much dither, delay and further delays the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions gave a statement on 29th January 2026 reaffirming their decision to not compensate those impacted.
While I understand concerns about habitat regulations and very much share a desire to protect nature, I believe nuclear power is vital to provide a cheap, reliable, and clean source of energy, and I welcome the work of John Fingleton and the Nuclear Regulatory Taskforce in outlin
