I know that miscarriage is a deeply painful experience, and I understand why families feel let down when support is not there at the right time.
I also appreciate that the current approach, where many are only offered further investigation after three miscarriages, does not feel right to those going through it.
Care should be timely, consistent and based on need, and I have shared these concerns with the Department of Health and Social Care to ask what steps they will take in response to Tommy's Graded Model of Miscarriage Care report and its recommendations.
