Plans for a major solar farm near Walkington are raising serious concerns locally, with proposals covering around 2,500 acres of farmland close to the village.
Graham says he is instinctively against the development and believes local residents must have a real say before any decisions are made.
He is concerned about the loss of good agricultural land and the long-term impact on the character of Walkington and the surrounding countryside.
Graham is inviting local residents to share their views on the proposals and hear more about the plans at an informal discussion at the Ferguson Fawcett in Walkington from around 7pm Thursday 7th May.
