Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart, visited Beverley Parklands Care Home to mark Care Home Open Week.
Care Home Open Week runs from the 27th June-3rd July 2022 and gives homes across the UK an opportunity to showcase the wonderful work that they do to look after their residents. It is also a chance for the homes to exhibit the many job opportunities that are available in the sector to people who may be interested in this career path.
To mark this important week, Graham visited Beverley Parklands Care Home. This Home opened in 2017 to provide residential and dementia care to those who need it and, in 2021, the Home was rated Outstanding by CQC, which only the top 3% of care homes nationally receive. During his visit, Graham thanked the brilliant staff for their dedication to ensure that their residents receive the best care possible. He also met some of the people staying there to learn more about them and their experiences.
Following his visit Nicole Rands, who is the manager of the Care Home, said: “I am grateful to Graham for visiting Beverley Parklands during Care Home Open Week. It was a good opportunity to discuss the future of the sector and show him how we ensure that every resident receives the best experience possible.”
After visiting Beverley Parklands Care Home Graham commented: “I would like to thank the staff for all of their hard work and congratulate them for being rated Outstanding by the CQC; it is great that they are recognised for the high level of care that they give to all their residents.”
