Graham visited Beverley Grange Nursing Home to celebrate its 25th birthday.
Located on Lockwood Road in the town, Beverley Grange is a high-quality nursing home which provides residential, nursing and palliative care as well as short-term respite for its residents. During its last inspection, the CQC rated it ‘Good’ in all areas and ‘Outstanding’ in its responsiveness to people’s needs.
The staff and residents were delighted to see Graham as he joined them in their musical activities. He played the maracas in the glorious sunshine and heard first-hand how much they enjoy events such as the party organised for St George’s Day.
Graham also met the outstanding and dedicated carers who ensure that everyone is looked after. He thanked them for their work and heard how they developed strong working relationships with each individual to support them with their needs.
Dr Batinder Marwah, who owns Beverley Grange Nursing Home, said: “I’d like to thank Graham taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit us. The residents all enjoyed meeting him, so did the staff and management team. We truly appreciate the work he does for the local community and thank him for being our local MP. We look forward to seeing him again in the future.”
Graham commented: “Everyone is right to expect high-quality care for themselves and their loved ones.
“That’s why I’m delighted that the dedicated staff at Beverley Grange ensure that their residents receive exactly that.
“They have served the community brilliantly for 25 years and I look forward to working with them to ensure this continues for another 25.”
