Graham recently met Mr and Mrs Procter in Withernsea, who told him about the problems they have faced trying to deposit cheques and withdraw cash through the local banking hub.
They bank with Lloyds. Graham believes that is simply not good enough.
As bank branches continue to close, Graham says replacement services must actually work for the people who rely on them. He fought hard to retain banking services through the banking hub in Withernsea and the cash hub in Hedon because access to cash and face-to-face banking still matters to many local people.
Older residents, small businesses and people across rural and coastal communities should not be forced to travel long distances or struggle to carry out basic banking services.
Graham is now demanding answers from Lloyds. But he first wants to understand how widespread these problems are and whether customers of other banks are affected too.
Residents who have experienced problems withdrawing cash, depositing cheques or accessing local banking services are encouraged to complete the short survey below.
